Cooking for Pleasure

- Cheesemaking workshop

Have you ever thought about making your own delicious, gourmet cheeses? In this one-day workshop you will learn to make a Normandy style Camembert, Greek style Fetta, Quark (cream cheese), fresh Ricotta, Mascarpone and a Greek style Yoghurt. You’ll also enjoy cheese platters, home-baked morning tea and a cheese inspired lunch served with local wines from Two Tails Winery in Nana Glen. This fully hands on workshop is a great day out, full of good food, lots of laughs and many cheesy jokes!

Music - Djembe (African Drum)

Over a 9 week period students will learn the fundamentals of Djembe drumming. In these informative and fun workshops you will learn basic hand techniques – Bass, Tone and Slap, basic rhythms and different time signatures. Each 2 hour session will end with a fun jam session when students can feel free to express themselves playing Djembe or any of the percussion instruments supplied by the tutor. Further information

Students receive hands-on practical training from fully qualified trainers in a quarry environment. The course also includes OHS instruction, log book and plant operator manual. These courses are competency based training program that requires students to be trained to a level suitable to achieve all elements necessary for assessment. Further information

Transport & logistics - Forklift

This 3 day course will provide you with both practical skills and theory required to gain a Forklift Ticket issued by WorkCover. Included in the course fee is your training and assessment. Students who successfully complete this course will be issued a Statement of Attainment in the unit TLILIC2001A Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck from the Transport and Logistics training package TLI10.
